• Welcome to my photography blog! I do photography as a hobby and live in Weatherford, Texas. While Weatherford isn't really the "heart of Texas", I am a Texan and consider my photos as indeed "from the heart of Texas" thus my blog name. I love taking images of nature, flowers, people, animals, fun places and things that I find interesting. I have done some portraits that you can see here on my blog in my photo gallery. Ellipsis Monday Photo Shoot ~ St. Patrick’s Day

An Old Irish Blessing

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.

May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life’s passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!

For this week’s Ellipsis Monday Photo Shoot the subject was St. Patrick’s Day.  Today I spent some time taking photos of things green in celebration of the holiday and for my Facebook group Oh Shoot! Digital Photo Scavenger Hunt–Luck of the Green.  In the above collage you’ll find green clover, our chocolate lab Ava carrying a St. Paddy’s Day hat, my feet in green grass clad in green shamrock socks,  our green-eyed cat Quinton glaring at the green hat, Ava wearing the hat and a green garden bug that I bought for my flower bed.

Hope you’ve had a fun and blessed St. Patrick’s Day and that you remembered to wear green and didn’t get pinched!

Hi Sandy

Very nice round-up of green photographs. Love the pup in green. He looks like he is in a festive mood. :)
