So….what can I tell you about me?
Well, I love roses, chocolate, Sonic Cherry Limeade, Diet Dr. Pepper, autumn leaves, Halloween, Christmas, Blue Bell ice cream, Tex-Mex food (especially chicken fajitas,chips & salsa) and hot chocolate.
I like country music when I’m feeling mellow, oldies rock ‘n roll when I need energized. I enjoy blogging, scrapbooking, creating cards for Operation Write Home, reading a good book and photography.
I love vintage things especially Shinybrite ornaments and aluminum Christmas trees, houses from the 1800s and ’57 Chevys. I also love the colors pink and red and turquoise.
I love animals. I’ve had many different kinds of pets in my lifetime. From a pig to a possum, yes, a possum. I love dogs but really, really love cats! I like cows too and love Texas Longhorns. Yea, I’m a country girl.
I’m happily married to the same man even after 36 years with all it’s ups and downs. We like to go on little road trips. I love that he will drive me around to fun places so I can say “stop!” jump out of the van and take photos. I’m super proud of our children and their spouses and of our beautiful grandchildren. I come from a huge family that consisted of seven kids and I have a host of nieces and nephews of which many are greats and great-greats! (I became an aunt at the tender age of two!)
I love faces and how families relate to each other and play and have fun. I love to capture that in photographs. I take life style portraits on location which means I don’t have a studio, the great outdoors or your home is my arena. My camera is a Canon and I love it. My favorite places to take photos is any place with lovely light.
And that’s pretty much everything ABOUT ME!
